A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §18A-4-2c, relating to increasing pay to teachers.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated §18A-4-2c, to read as follows:

ARTICLE 4.  SALARIES, WAGES AND OTHER BENEFITS.

§18A-4-2c.  Salary Increase for Teachers and School Personnel.

Effective July 1, 2015, all teachers and school personnel shall receive a salary increase of $1,500.

 

 

NOTE:  The purpose of this bill is to give teachers and school personnel a raise of $1,500.

 

§18A-4-2c is new; therefore, it has been completely underscored.
